The Bridge's core focus is life groups, weekly worship, and community impact. This weekend we are going to put our faith into action and worship through the act of service!

On January 7/8, there will be a choice of several serving opportunities that we hope will meet everyone's comfort level. We have indoor, outdoor, family, low-impact, high-impact, donation projects- there really is something for everyone!!! All projects are labeled for your convenience. Now, all you have to do is grab the family and/or your life and decide where you will serve. You will receive an email from your project lead with your assignment and any additional info no later than Thursday, January 6. If you have any registration questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Melody at Melody@thebridgeportage.org.

All projects will run on Saturday, 9:00 a.m.-Noon, unless otherwise noted. Please meet at the Bridge no later than 8:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to sign-in, meet your team, and pray. All other projects meeting outside of the Saturday 9 a.m.-Noon timeframe will meet directly at the project location

++Donations are due after second service on Sunday, January 23.

4 Wings of God Painting
Wing's of God is a Christ-centered transition home for women who have been released from the Van Buren County jail. They have acquired a second home to provide affordable housing for women and their children after finishing their program with Wing's of God. We need a crew to help wash windows, paint baseboards, trim, and a few closet doors, and possibly cleaning appliances.

8 Bridge Neighbor Snow Shoveling
Calling all Fusion, Edge, and Horizon peeps, Life Groups, and Bridge families too, we need YOU to help bless our Bridge neighbors. We will be going house to house to help our neighbors with snow shoveling. We know it’s Michigan and the weather can be quite unpredictable, so if there's sunshine and rainbows instead of sleet & snow, we will be helping around the Bridge.

9 Youth for Christ City Life Center Cleaning
City Life is an effective ministry model to transform the lives of urban youth, their families and the communities that they live in. The City Life model provides a strategic way to pursue every young person in urban communities all over the USA. The City Life Center on the Eastside serves as a meeting location for the Eastside teens but also a safe space for all teens in Kalamazoo County. Some of the teens favorite spaces at the City Life Center are the bball court, gaming area, carpet ball, and cooking. This team will help clean these spaces so the teens can continue to meet in a clean, safe environment. This is also an awesome opportunity to see how God is moving through Youth for Christ in Kalamazoo.
